THYOSIL CXP5040/L is a liquid polymer specially designed to reverse the degradation and restore molecular weight and IV (intrinsic viscosity) in degraded polymers, like PET, polycarbonate, nylon and other condensation polymers.  

THYOSIL CXP5040/L offers a way of increasing molecular weight and melt strengths of polycondensate polymers like PET and biopolymers like PLA and PHA. In alloys of polycondensates, the chain extender can be used as reactive compatibilizer to improve the mechanical properties of the material. This technology significantly improves the recycling of PET and the properties of biopolymers.
